The General Finnish Thesaurus (YSA) contains ca. 27 000 general, commonly used terms. The thesaurus is widely used in Finnish libraries and other organisations.

KOKO Ontology
KOKO is a collection of Finnish core ontologies, which have been merged together. The ontologies include the Finnish General Upper Ontology YSO and ontologies that extends and refine YSO such as the Ontology for Museum Domain, the Ontology of Applied Arts, and the Finnish Ontology of Photography.

Lingvoj
Lingvoj gathers currently the descriptions of more than 500 languages, including all languages defined by ISO 639-1 and most of ISO 639-2 codes (a few exceptions remain, for which Wikipedia articles are not consistent with ISO classification), and all languages having an active Wikipedia. Descriptions include all ISO 639 codes when available, owl:sameAs links to the URIs defining those languages in different RDF publications, and labels available in multilingual Wikipedias. More than 14,000 such labels are available in the current version, in over 200 languages.

Geography
The Finnish Geo-ontology
SUO contains hundreds of classes that define different kinds of places; places that are either formed by nature (island, lake, etc.) or defined by humans (city, graveyard, etc.). Besides the hierarchical relations, there exists also mereological (is part of) and topological (overlaps, crosses, touches, etc.) relations between the classes. The instance data is derived from two different sources, namely Finnish Place Name Register (Paikannimirekisteri, PNR) and GEOnet Names Server (GNS).

The European Multilingual Thesaurus on Health Promotion
The European multilingual thesaurus on health promotion in 12 languages is a product of international co-operation and financed by the European Commision. The thesaurus is available in twelve languages: Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish. The aim of the thesaurus is to improve the communication and the collaboration in the field of health promotion and health education at the European level through stimulation of a common, uniform way of retrieval of terms and concepts.

Ontology of the Birds of the World
Maailman linnut -ontologia perustuu BirdLife Suomen vuosina 2004-2006 tarkastamaan ja täydentämään Suomen Lintutieteellisen Yhdistyksen (SLY) vuosina 1981–1992, 1993–1999 ja 1999 laatimaan Maailman lintujen suomenkielisten nimien luetteloon. Ontologia sisältää 194 heimon, 1227 suvun ja 9740 lajin nimet.

Maailman nisäkkäät -ontologia perustuu Luonnontieteellisen keskusmuseon julkaisemaan Maailman nisäkkäiden suomenkielisten nimien luetteloon. Nimiluettelossa esitetään maailman nisäkkäiden lahko-, heimo-, suku- ja lajinimet, ensin tieteelliset nimet, auktori (tieteellisen nimen antaja), englantilainen nimi, vanha suomalainen nimi (jos sellainen on) ja uusi suomalainen nimiehdotus.

Merenkulkualan asiasanasto
Suomen merialan kirjastot ovat yhteistyössä koonneet merenkulkualan asiasanaston. Ammattisanastoksi rajattuna se sisältää noin 1300 merenkulkualan suomenkielistä termiä. Jos sanalla on ruotsin- tai englanninkielinen vastine, myös se on lisätty termistöön. Merenkulkualan kansainvälisyydestä johtuen englanninkielinen termistö on laaja eikä kaikilla sanoilla ole vastinetta suomeksi.
